The Silver Circle is the Columbus Section ACS’s community of experienced and retired chemists who continue to share their knowledge, expertise, and passion for chemistry. Open to all members, the group provides opportunities for connection, lifelong learning, and engagement while celebrating the valuable contributions of senior chemists to the profession and society.
The Silver Circle fosters connections between generations of chemists through mentoring, outreach, and volunteer service. Members participate in educational programs, support students and early-career professionals, contribute to community outreach activities, and enjoy social events that encourage networking and friendship. Through these efforts, the Silver Circle helps preserve and share the experience and wisdom of long-time ACS members.
